Every school needs a playground, an essential component of a child\u2019s school experience. With this thought in mind, and with the generous help of our colleague Mr. Josef Lapka, his lovely wife Ruth and beautiful daughters \u2013 Evelina &amp; Aurelia, who helped raise the required funds, the eRevMax CSR team will get a playground constructed for our beneficiary \u2013 Hatgacha Primary School in West Bengal, India.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-851\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"729\" height=\"483\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-852\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"668\" height=\"876\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As they say &#8211; <strong>\u201c<em>Do a little more than you\u2019re paid to. Give a little more than you have to\u201d<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>this fund-raising initiative reposed our faith in people\u2019s kindness as we witnessed donations coming from different countries for this project.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-853\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"581\" height=\"877\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The school playground will help engage children\u2019s imaginations and playful spirits and provide them with a place to further develop their cognitive, social, emotional and physical aptitudes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-857\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/suva-1-47.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1656\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Team eRevMax along with Josef and his family visited the Hatgacha Primary School this week for the foundation stone laying ceremony for the playground. The overwhelmed teachers and students showed their gratitude by putting up a cultural program &#8211; the students put up brilliant performances \u2013 they danced, sang and recited poems, which gave a glimpse of the Bengali culture to our esteemed guests.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-854\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1429\" height=\"946\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-855\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"888\" height=\"1141\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-856\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/suva-1-35.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1841\" height=\"2500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A special mention for <strong>Evelina, Aurelia<\/strong> and <strong>Whitstable Junior School, UK<\/strong> \u2013 who prepared a hand-crafted book with pictures of students, what they do in school, subjects they learn, experiments they do etc. This thoughtful gesture really overwhelmed us all \u2013 it was like a mini cultural exchange program to help Hatgacha students get a wider world view. In addition, Whitstable also donated play equipments like football and jumbo badminton racquets among other things.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-858\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"962\" height=\"637\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-859\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"935\" height=\"620\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-860\" src=\"https:\/\/erevmax.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1048\" height=\"694\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Overall, a successful day that was spent well in giving shape to a noble cause. And big shout out to everyone involved for their incredible support and dedication in making this happen.
