IHG builds app travel planner
IHG Hotels & Resorts has built a new travel planner powered by Google Cloud AI. The travel planner will offer personalised travel recommendations to customers who use the IHG One Rewards mobile app. It is part of a suite of new features that will launch in the second half of 2024, which IHG says will create ‘a more dynamic digital guest experience’.
MakeMyTrip expands globally to 150 countries
Indian online travel agency MakeMyTrip made a push Monday to go global: It has extended its services to over 150 countries, including the UK, Germany, Japan, Italy, and France. Until now, it has operated primarily in India, the U.S., and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
